More on Abortion.

             Righteousness and Law

Is murder wrong? What is the difference between killing a six week old baby, or a six month old child? Are babies really human in the womb? Are they just mounds of tissue?  If you went out today, bought a gun, and killed someone would you go to jail? Absolutely! In fact, you would most likely be tried for first degree murder! If this is the case, why is it OK to kill an unborn baby? Why is it OK to allow babies to be violently torn from their mother’s womb? If babies in the womb are just mounds of tissue, why can you see perfectly formed arms, legs, and faces, even as early as eight weeks?

Why are we scared to speak up? Why don’t we dare to speak for the ones who can’t speak for themselves? Are we really that weak? Are we really that scared? These children are dying! Why? There are women whose empty arms are aching to hold a baby, but they can’t.  Where is the value of human life? Have we really sunk so low as to allow this cruelty? The ground is crying out as life after life is buried in its depths.

The inadequate information given to pregnant women about their options is not enough. After an abortion, many women are faced with heartbreaking regret as a result of their decision. Abortion should not be a choice of convenience. Society needs to support the mothers who choose life. In addition, we need to change the adoption laws to make it easier for families to adopt the babies!

We need to speak up, defend the rights of these children, and work on finding more solutions for life.  Life is sacred!  We need to be voices for the voiceless. When will America stand up for those who cannot?

Will my generation be the one to make the change or will we be silent like our ancestors?
